Available March 2019 "Casey the Container and her first day in port" is a rhyming children's picture book that follows Casey, a new shipping container, on her experiences as she traverses through the port. In this operationally accurate journey, Casey meets new friends, learns the value of helping others, and discovers the significant role containers play in our world. Over the next several months, I'll provide updates on the final states of publishing, including the all-important details regarding the launch party. I wrote this book for my son, but after sharing this concept and characters with friends in the industry, I decided to publish it as a children's book, so all who work on the waterfront will have an opportunity to show the little ones in their lives the vital role they fulfill daily on the waterfront.
